Dead Of Winter Board Game How To Play
Dead of Winter is a board game for 2-5 players that takes around two hours to play. Set in a small, post-apocalyptic town, each player takes on the role of a survivor, fighting to stay alive in the face of hunger, zombies and other players. The game is split in to two main phases: the day phase, and the night phase. During the day, players can gather supplies, trade with other players, and perform other actions. At night, players must defend their base from zombies, and may also choose to attack other players. The game ends when one player has either lost all their survivors, or has successfully completed a specific objective.
To begin, players choose a survivor, and are given a character sheet and a starting item. The survivors are placed in to the town, and the game board is placed in the middle of the table. The day phase begins, and players take turns taking actions. There are three types of actions: movement, supply, and special. Movement allows a player to move their survivor to another location on the board, supply allows a player to take one of the supplies in the centre of the board, and special allows a player to take one of the special actions printed on their character sheet.
Players can also trade with each other. To do this, they must both be in the same location, and each player must have at least one supply that the other player wants. The player with the most supplies then gives one to the other player, and takes the other player’s supply.
At the end of the day phase, the night phase begins. The first player draws two zombie cards, and places them in to the night phase area on the board. These represent the zombies that are currently attacking the town. If at any point the number of zombies in the night phase area exceeds the number of survivors, the players lose.
Each player then takes turns performing actions. The first action that a player can take is to fight zombies. To do this, they must be in the same location as the zombies, and they must have a weapon. The player then rolls two dice, and adds the result to their strength. If the total is greater than or equal to the zombie’s strength, the zombie is killed. If not, the player is killed.
Players can also choose to defend their base. To do this, they must be in the same location as their base, and they must have a barricade. The player then rolls two dice, and adds the result to their defence. If the total is greater than or equal to the zombie’s strength, the zombie is killed. If not, the player is killed.
Players can also choose to attack other players. To do this, they must be in the same location as the other player, and they must have a weapon. The player then rolls two dice, and adds the result to their strength. If the total is greater than or equal to the other player’s defence, the player is killed. If not, the player is injured, and must randomly select one of their survivors to lose one life.
The game ends when one player has either lost all their survivors, or has successfully completed a specific objective.

How To Play Apples To Apples Board Game
The Apples to Apples party game is a game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The game is simple – each player is given a card with a noun on it, and then all players take turns flipping over a card from a deck of cards. If the card flipped over matches the player’s card, they must read the adjective on their card out loud, and then everyone else must choose the best response from their hand. The player who played the matching card then chooses the winning response, and that player gets a point. The first player to get 7 points wins the game.
To set up the game, shuffle the deck of cards and place them in the middle of the players. Each player then takes 7 cards, and the remaining cards are placed face down in the middle of the players. The player who most recently had a birthday goes first, and play then proceeds clockwise.
On a player’s turn, they draw a card from the deck and then play a card. If the card played matches the card drawn, the player must read the adjective on their card out loud, and then everyone else must choose the best response from their hand. The player who played the matching card then chooses the winning response, and that player gets a point. If the player cannot play a card, they must draw another card from the deck.
If the card played does not match the card drawn, the player simply draws another card from the deck and play passes to the next player.
When a player has no cards left in their hand, they must draw 5 cards from the deck and then play 5 cards. If they are able to play a card, they must do so. If they are not able to play a card, they must draw another card from the deck.
The game ends when a player reaches 7 points, and the player with the most points wins the game.
