How To Play Splendor Board Game
Splendor is a quick and easy to learn board game for 2-4 players. The goal of the game is to collect as many points as possible by acquiring and trading gems.
To begin, players shuffle the gem cards and place them face down in the middle of the table. Each player takes three cards and sets the rest aside, face down. The player with the most money starts the game.
On a player’s turn, they take one of the following actions:
1. Take 3 gems of any color
2. Take 2 gems of any color and 1 gold
3. Take 1 gem of any color and 2 gold
4. Trade 3 gems for 1 gold
After taking an action, the player draws back up to 3 cards.
When a player has 10 or more gems of the same color, they can take a turn to cash in their gems. They take all of their gems of that color and place them in front of them. For every 3 gems they have, they get 1 point.
The game ends when a player either has no more cards in their hand or has reached 15 points. The player with the most points wins the game.
